This work consists of a variety of vintage and contemporary chairs loosely arranged in an outward facing circle. Directly above each chair is both a fluorescent light and a distinct, decorative light, each of a distinct style. The chairs and lights are connected by a complicated structure of boards, bolts and wires. The asymmetric nature of the construction combined with the hodgepodge of furniture creates a complex, architectural setting for the work.

As the first viewer approaches the structure, all the lights are illuminated by a fluorescent light. When this first viewer sits in a chair, the light immediately overhead is extinguished. Similarly, if any viewer sits in any one of the remaining empty seats, those lights are extinguished as well. However, the situation changes if all 5 seats are occupied at the same time. As the last viewer sits, all five of the lights come on to glow brightly.
