A simple screen or projection with a small camera that faces the space in front of the image. The screen is dark until a visitor passes in front of the attached camera. The movement of the viewer is reflected on the screen in the form of a silhouette. As the viewer moves, the silhouette reveals a portion of a hidden video. The viewer can stretch and shake and agitate in front of the camera to continue to reveal portions of the masked image. As soon as the movement stops, however, the silhouette fades and the screen returns to black.
As it is in so many situations, it is the active participation of the public that reveals hidden truths. As the participation wanes, the information fades away.
